This is for Gander RV in Fort Pierce, FL. To make it short DO NOT BUY AN RV FROM THEM. I wish I would have listened to all the bad reviews. You pay for Pre-Delivery and they never touch the RV. I had so many problems with this RV I can't list. Bottom line the service department is just horrible and no one in the management chain cares!!! Thank God I did not pay thousands of dollars for an extended Service contract. This will more than likely end up going to a lawyer.
I ordered a wave 8, cover and legs. The wave 8 was to large and the cover didn't fit well. I returned the Wave 8 and cover (separate boxes. I paid for a signature of receipt for the heater). The cover was refund immediately. but not the heater. I sent the proof of signature to gander rep. They received the heater on the 18th of May, it's June 2 and I still have no refund for the heater. I will dispute with my Credit card company today. I will not order from this site again. (I also ordered a Wave 3 & cover from them once the Return was setup with the rep which is why I kept the legs). Works fine....but still need my 366.00 back from the first purchase. I was assured it was coming but has not.

Update: After submitting a complaint to the CEO of the company the store gave me a satisfactory resolution. Glad to see the store following the beliefs of their CEO.
My wife and I went in to look at campers, they didn't have anything that my vehicle could tow, salesman talked to manager who said they had just took one in on trade that would work that would be dropped off next week if we wanted it we should make a deposit, my wife and i went home did more research decided we wanted the rv, Gander RV sent paperwork to me thru email, I signed and gave them my credit card for a deposit. Monday morning they called us told us the unit was in, we went down saw the unit and fell in love with it, they said we could not complete the purchase till Friday so we said ok we would do that Friday, Tuesday finance person called told us they screwed up, the Unit was actually a 2021 but we had a contract so they would offer the price we agreed on. Wednesday I went in and sat with the Finance guy for over an hour to get terms that we would accept and he gave me the sales paperwork showing a stock number, make, model, serial number, year, sales price and everything. later that day the finance man sent me a text that he had me approved zero down with the payment i wanted and everything was ready to go for Friday. Thursday around noon they called and said that they would not sell me the 2021 we had a contract on but they had taken a trade on a 2019 and that was the one we had the contract on and that is all they would sell me. I went and looked at it it was beet up, dirty, broken pieces, radio messed up, nothing like the one they showed me, i asked them if they would clean it up and fix everything, they said they would take a look but if they couldn't fix it they wouldn't replace it because we had a contract that showed it purchased "as is" . After telling me this he then goes on to tell me we could not do the purchase on Friday as scheduled because they still had not done the paperwork and didn't feel ethical selling it to me before the paperwork was done. Sounds like they went out and found an older one to sell me since they had screwed up originally.
Very typical Bait and Switch show them the shiny one get them to sign a contract then give them one that is nowhere near what they showed you.
I have been waiting for over 30 days for my order.

Every time I order online it takes forever for the item to ship and a few times never makes it to the shipper. I will say when I finally got ahold of a supervisor I was given a discount and the item came right away but the web site sucks for actually getting the item. I shop in store when ever possible and love the store!
I can’t say enough about Denise Ayers she was so polite and informative when shopping for accessories for our motor home . She is a very valuable asset to your company it’s had to find people like her. 5 stars
Steven Hozella is terrific. We were at the Hamburg store. He spent over three hours trying to help us find the right travel trailer. We placed a $500 deposit. A few days later; we decided it did not fully suit our needs. After notifying Stephen, it took only two days for our money to be be credited back. Even though we could not find a trailer at our price level, I would reccomend Stephen as the man to see. We still had a great experience and would highly recomend him.
Tried to purchase a slide for my cooler. No confirmation it was in stock (Said it was). So I called customer service, be prepared to wait 3-5 business days for any question. Followed by another 3-5 business days when you call back for another delay. This went on for 40 days when I again got a 3-5 business day wait time to check with shipping as to availability of item....I cancelled the order and will NEVER do business with them or their affiliates.
Wow. We purchased an RV from Ft Pierce Gander. Our salesman was top of the line. Loved his professionalism and honesty. It stopped there. We purchased one week ago and still do not have our unit when a couple minor issues were found. A stabilizer motor was shot and had to be replaced. We were literally lied to by the service department about the part being ordered. It was not ordered until a week later. Today as a matter of fact, even though we were told it was ordered last week. We had to cancel 2 camping trips that cost us our deposits because of the unit not being ready. A complete run around. We called, visited . numerous times and were told various things each time, all not true about what was going on. . Very sad and corrupt service department. It’s too bad that department can reflect on the sales department and the overall Gander name at Ft Pierce. I’ll make sure this is posted on as a many reviews as possible. With all the negatives I’m seeing about this place, maybe something will be done.

My wife and I decided to look at purchasing a travel trailer at Gander/Camping World in Ft.Pierce.We got an excellent salesman, Gerald however his next
level of sales managers were,at best,used car hacks.
After the typical back and forth their final price came back with “how does these payments work for you range” and proceeded to show me a basic chart with erroneous(no months financed showing,no interest rate???)info ...We were then wondering hummmm
Next I got to upline manager #2 ,( the bull-pens relief pitcher) nice lady,but we still required a better explanation of the final cost and hard price.
We both have great credit scores (her 850,me 780)
We agreed to 13k out the door,and didn’t want to use Ganders bank to finance.Finally after 2 hours of haggling we got to see “The Wizard behind the curtain”.
Who said the Coleman Lantern 17B was actually not on the lot and due to selling 17 previously and it would take 30 to 90 days to come in.Not what the salesman told us (he was also not privy to the real quantity on site?) We went ahead and paid 500 down “The Wizard”
wrote up a receipt for the deposit.After discussion we are going to pick up a 2021Forest River WolfPup Cherokee 17 FQ for 17k out the door.Found on line in Ga.Picking up next weekend. Bottom line .

I have not always had a good experience with gander outdoors. I stopped going in for a while due to some not so nice staff. But I recently started going into the deforest store again and have come across some very nice people especially the cashier that seems to always be there when I go in. Shannon’s customer service is amazing she is always so polite and always makes my husband and I feel very welcome. If we have a bad experience while shopping that always gets changed around before we leave due to Shannon’s politeness and great customer service. when we see her welcoming energy as we approach the register.
